Fees

MEDICARE REBATES:

Medicare Rebates are applicable for clients with a GP Mental Health Care Plan and Referral. If you provide your correct Medicare details, Mind Matters Cairns can process your Medicare rebate in Clinic after payment is received in full.



PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE REBATES:

Your consultation may be eligible for a rebate from your private health insurance. You will be issued with a receipt after payment which you can use to request a rebate from your private health company. 



CANCELLATION POLICY:

When appointments are booked, our therapist reserves the whole hour (or otherwise specified time allowance) especially for you. If you cannot make it, please give us 48 hours notice so that we may offer the allocated time to another person who may be waiting. This also ensures that we are not disadvantaged and can continue to provide our services.

We understand that sometimes you may be unable to keep an appointment because of sudden illness or an unexpected personal emergency. If this happens to you, please contact us as soon as possible to explain the situation. You may call our office at any time, even after hours, as we do have an answering service that allows you to leave a message.

The following fees apply for non attendance:

• Non-attendance fee - Full Fee

• Less than 48 hours notice of cancellation of a session - 50% of full fee.
